I'm back from my little break. I went home to New York for a few days. I needed to be home for a little while. I had a really nice weekend though. I spent it with my pops and a few friends. My mom and brother are in Ireland, so I'm happy that I could be home with my dad when they were gone. My dad and I watched this really odd show about these tribal peoples in South America for like 2 hours-literally one of the funniest experiences with an Irishman. I went out to Valentines day dinner twice-once with my Dad and then later that night with my friends. I also went on a 5 mile hike up by the Seven Lakes early Sunday morning with my Dad and Michelle. Then we went to a diner in Hicksville with all the locals. Also, my mom got Michelle and I Valentines day gifts. She got us manicure/pedicures in our spot on Yonkers avenue. It was SO relaxing. We noticed around Thanksgiving that they got a pet-this huge parrot. It was gross and about the size of a small toddler. Well, I'm happy to report that it's currently M.I.A. from the nail place. I didn't really get to sleep a lot and I did have an allergic reaction on my face from "that night" (haha). I still feel sick from those tortilla chips and guacamole accompanied by margaritas and dancing, then finished off by white wine. Overall though, it was a pretty decent weekend, I'm just going to need to clean myself up all week.
Right now, I'm really overworked with schoolwork and I have a lot of catching up to do before midterms. I'm in the middle of procrastinating a two class-combination essay (Look at the picture above). If I have time I'll post again and if not, I should be coming back to myself in the next few days. Sorry about the slow start to this blog.
